Christmas day

Christmas morning started out with Tanner waking up before 7 am and dad telling him to go back to sleep for another hour. We had to wake Carter up at 8 am because Tanner could not stand to wait any longer. The kids were so much fun to watch open presents. Then in order for us to go to breakfast at my parents house Spencer had to shovel us out of the blizzard that we were having. The day was a great adventure and a lot of fun! We had a wonderful Christmas!

Let it Snow!!!!

After the wind howling all night long, the first big snowstorm of the season arrived this afternoon. Tanner and Carter were so excited to get outside and play in all the fresh snow. They built a sledding hill in the backyard and had a big snowball fight. After playing outside for two hours we had to make them come inside to get warm. I love how peaceful and white everything is after a big snow storm. Now it is really starting to feel like Christmas.

Thanksgiving treat

Carter wanted to make cupcakes, so I found this idea and thought it would be fun. The kids had a blast making the turkeys, then taking the candy off a little at a time and laughing at how funny the cupcakes looked without a mouth, eyes or feathers. Besides being cute they were really good too!

Football playoffs

Tanner's football team went to the playoffs. They beat Bingham in the first game, but lost to Alta in the championship game on Saturday. I never thought that little league football would be this much fun. We lucked out with great coaches and fun parents. Tanner loved every minute of it, even all the running. He loved starting on defense as cornerback, although he was the third smallest on the team he was their starting tackle on the line and held his own. Spencer could have spent every day at the park watching practice. Thanks for a great season Riverton grey gremlin team!!!

Happy Halloween!!

Halloween was so much fun this year! We had our two football players, Tanner as a Riverton Silverwolf, Carter as a Pittsburgh Steeler, and Brooklyn as their little cheerleader. The kids had so much fun running from house to house and eating as much candy as they could stuff in their mouths without us seeing. I love how Halloween brings out the kids in all of us.

First time blogger

I can't believe I have finally started a blog!!!! Friends and family have been trying to talk me into blogging for a while and I gave in hoping to compensate for being four years behind on scrapbooking. Yes, I admit it I am very behind on scrapbooking, and admitting it is half the battle. Okay, the main reason I am doing this is because my little sister is traveling the world for the next few months and this is my way of keeping her posted on the goings on of our family. Keke, I hope you enjoy this because you know I am not computer savy and this is totally out of my comfort zone.
